Exam Window:
Apply for your license at core.tn.gov within 1 year of passing - the exam application is valid for 12 months from the exam date, and the PSI exam fee itself is valid for one year.
Retake Policy:
No same-day retake (schedule the day after at the earliest). A passing score on one portion is valid for two retakes of the failed portion or one year, whichever comes first. After the second failed attempt, you must wait 30 days between subsequent attempts.
Background Check:
Electronic fingerprint submission to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and FBI via IdentoGO; submit the receipt and ORI number with your license application. Not required again when upgrading from affiliate broker to broker.
